Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia continues to solidify his bid for a fourth Gold Glove.

Pedroia made a tremendous diving stop in the third inning of Monday’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. The impressive play robbed Jose Reyes of a base hit and saved a run.

Danny Valencia singled with one out in the third inning. He took second base when Munenori Kawasaki grounded out and likely would have crossed the dish if Pedroia didn’t prevent Reyes’ sharp grounder from traveling into right field.

Pedroia entered Monday’s game with only two errors in 126 games. The four-time All-Star is having a down year offensively, but his steady glove work could net him some hardware.
