Minnesota sports fans are just too nice.
The Timberwolves reportedly have a “handshake agreement” with the Cavaliers to send forward Kevin Love to Cleveland, so Minnesota fans have a right to be mad. Burning a jersey seems to be the way most fans take their emotions out when a top player leaves town. But Minnesotans are just too friendly a bunch to get caught up in such a crazy act.
Instead of burning Love’s jersey, some Timberwolves fans thanked Love for his time in Minnesota and just pretended to burn the uniform. They even threw in a Christian Laettner jersey for kicks.
