The worlds of soccer and pop culture collided Saturday night in Ibiza, Spain, when Neymar met Paris Hilton.
Neymar was attending Bastian Schweinsteiger’s 30th birthday party at a nightclub on the Spanish island when he crossed paths with Hilton, according to TMZ.
The two posed for a photo, which Neymar shared with the world on Instagram.
Neymar, 22, currently is recovering from the back injury he suffered in Brazil’s victory over Colombia in the 2014 FIFA World Cup quarterfinals. The injury will rule Neymar out of Barcelona’s first game of the 2014-15 season (on Aug. 24 against Elche).
Dani Alves, Neymar’s teammate at Barcelona and Brazil, also scored a photo-op with Hilton.
