Not long ago, the folks at ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! had the brilliant idea of having celebrities come on the show and do live readings of mean tweets that Twitter users directed their way.

As the college football season kicked off with a full slate on Saturday, ESPN’s College GameDay decided to have a little fun by calling on some of the game’s top coaches to do the same.

The results, as you might expect, were awesome.

First there’s Alabama head coach Nick Saban, looking delightfully cheery as he reads a tweet claiming he “doesn’t enjoy anything in life.” Then there’s Michigan coach Brady Hoke, whose reaction to being accused of wearing “hot dog water” as cologne is priceless.

Florida coach Will Muschamp and Mississippi State head man Dan Mullen also joined in on the fun, with Mullen taking his insult in stride to drop a classic quote from “Christmas Vacation.”

Who says college football coaches don’t have a sense of humor?
