Patriots Preparing For Joint Practices Against Redskins (Video)

Some NFL players don’t like the league’s joint practices during the preseason because they’re reluctant to let another team see how they run things.

But the New England Patriots don’t see them that way.

“I mean, you — sometimes you play a team twice in a year, and they’re really familiar with you, you’re familiar with them and ultimately, you gotta go out and the fundamentals of the game kick in,” quarterback Tom Brady said.

“You gotta make the plays, you gotta make the reads, you gotta do the fundamentals of the game. You can’t come in here and scheme every play against our particular defense.”

Check out the video above to see how the Pats are preparing for their joint practices against the Washington Redskins, which begin Aug. 4.
