Sources: Patriots Work Out QBs Keith Price, Dominique Davis, Kory Faulkner

NCAA Football: Washington at UCLAThe New England Patriots updated their rolodex on available quarterbacks Tuesday.

The Patriots hosted free-agent quarterbacks Keith Price, Dominique Davis and Kory Faulkner for workouts, according to multiple sources.

Price was released by the Seattle Seahawks on June 16. The 6-foot-1, 204-pound signal-caller signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Washington this spring.

Davis went undrafted out of East Carolina in 2012. He was waived by the Atlanta Falcons on June 19. Davis, who played for Boston College in 2007 and 2008, completed 5 of 7 passes for 34 yards for the Falcons in 2013.

Faulkner went undrafted out of Southern Illinois this year. The 6-foot-3, 229-pound QB was released by the San Francisco 49ers on July 29.

Patriots backup quarterback Ryan Mallett missed practice Sunday and Monday after appearing to hurt his knee in Thursday night’s preseason opener against the Washington Redskins. Mallett was back on the practice field Tuesday, but he was limited in action.
