After weeks of shocking and horrifying NFL news dominating the headlines, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers gave us a story guaranteed to make everyone feel good.

Rodgers recently surprised 11-year-old Annie Bartosz, who lost her twin brother Jack to pediatric cancer two years ago, and helped her get the word out about her campaign, “Gold in September.” The goal of Annie’s cause is to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer, as she encourages people to wear gold, the official color of pediatric cancer awareness month, during September.

The Packers star certainly did his part to help Annie with her cause, first eliciting a priceless reaction out of her as he dropped by while she was getting ready for an interview. The two, both wearing gold, then walked door to door to explain “Gold in September” to neighbors.

Rodgers had grown close to Jack before he lost his battle with cancer in 2002, and the quarterback revealed in the video that Jack had left a big impact on him, which led to his desire to lend a hand.

Check out the touching story in the video below.
