The Baltimore Orioles won the American League East for the first time since 1997 on Tuesday night. The club and its fans were more than ready to celebrate.

The O’s clinched the flag with a win over the Toronto Blue Jays in front of the home crowd at Camden Yards. That led to a rowdy celebration started by the players on the field, which then spilled over to fans who stayed around to join the party.

Center fielder Adam Jones figured he’d extend a time-honored baseball tradition to fans of the black and orange. Jones, who was pied in the face himself, found some pies and celebrated by slamming those pastries right into the faces of fans seated along the field.
