The Boston Red Sox are already looking ahead to next season.

A year after winning the World Series, the Red Sox put together a disappointing and ultimately forgettable campaign in 2014, finishing last in the American League East. But despite the rough season, Red Sox Nation continued to show up to the ballpark and continued to show their support for the team. And for that, the organization is thankful.

The team sent out an email to fans Monday, not only thanking them for their loyalty this past season, but also promising to get back to work and do better next season because “for us, there is no time to wait.”

The countdown for next season begins now, and with 190 days until Opening Day, the Red Sox are eagerly awaiting the fresh start.
