It’s not a secret that athletes don’t always like to talk to the media.
Some, like Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch, avoid the media at all costs. But many others, like Houston Texans back Arian Foster, opt to drive reporters crazy by speaking without saying anything at all.
Add Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton to that list.
During a news conference Wednesday, Newton elected to give a long, rehearsed answer to every reporter, regardless of the question. He even managed to get in a jab at Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh in the process.

Suh went with the “avoiding the media” tactic Thursday when reporters were looking for his reaction to being called “Donkey Kong.” Teammates assured that Suh didn’t care about it, but there’s a good chance the huge defensive tackle could get the last laugh when he goes up against Newton on Sunday.
