MLB: New York Yankees at Boston Red SoxDustin Pedroia sat out almost six full games with concussion-like symptoms, but he’s returning to the Boston Red Sox’s lineup Friday night at Fenway Park against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Pedroia went down in the second inning of Saturday’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays in a collision with fellow second baseman Logan Forsythe. The injury came just as Pedroia was heating up offensively, so hopefully he’ll continue to deliver for Boston. He’ll fall back into his usual No. 2 spot in the lineup.

Brock Holt will move over to third base with Pedroia back, while Will Middlebrooks — who’s 6 for his last 41 — will take a seat.

Daniel Nava and Mookie Betts will man right field and center field, respectively. Betts will bat seventh and follow Nava in the lineup.

Allen Webster will take the mound for the Red Sox against Blue Jays right-hander Drew Hutchison. Webster has had some ups and downs in his seven starts this season. The 24-year-old righty couldn’t make it through five innings in either of his previous two starts, giving up six earned runs in both.
