ESPN’s Hannah Storm Asks ‘What Exactly Does The NFL Stand For?’ (Video)

ESPN’s Hannah Storm delivered an emotional and powerful monologue about Ray Rice and the NFL’s handling of the situation as she closed Sunday morning’s “SportsCenter.”

With most of the attention still on the NFL’s ugly week that was ahead of Week 2, Storm shared how her excitement about the first week of football quickly vanished as video of Rice punching his then-fiancee in an elevator casino surfaced. Storm was almost moved to tears as she recounted answering “seemingly impossible questions about the league’s biggest stars” to her young daughter.

Storm questioned if the league even cares about its female fans or the issue of domestic violence at all before closing out her segment by posing one last question: “What exactly does the NFL stand for?”
