With the NBA season still a little over a month away, Kevin Durant has spent the past week representing his hometown quite a bit.

The Rockville, Md., native attended Sunday’s game between the Washington Redskins and Jacksonville Jaguars wearing a Robert Griffin III jersey with John Wall and later rocked a customized Washington Nationals jersey on Instagram.

After seeing Durant’s hometown team dismantle the Jaguars 41-10, Redskins owner Dan Snyder sent the Oklahoma City Thunder superstar a customized game ball with Durant’s name and the final score of the game.

Snyder isn’t the most popular owner in sports these days, but this gesture to Durant definitely should get him on his good side.

No word if Wall also got a game ball.
