LeSean McCoy’s 20-Cent Tip Receipt Being Auctioned On eBay For $100K

Lesean.mccoy.tipTucked away behind two other running backs with much more serious scandals is LeSean McCoy, whose 20-cent tip at a Philadelphia burger joint called PYT has initiated a minor controversy that seemingly won’t go away.

Why?

Because a friend of the restaurant owner Tommy Up has put the receipt on eBay for auction.

Think that’s crazy?

After 142 bids as of Monday night, the bidding is near $100,000.

Rather than complain about the tip, the waiter who got stiffed at Tommy Up should write a personalized thank you note to the running back for essentially handing the restaurant a lottery ticket.

The auction page says that with the money, the restaurant will “be able to leave the largest tip possible to all PYT employees for their hard work and dedication.”

What would make this story even crazier is if LeSean was secretly doing the bidding.
