The fast-paced, 20-minute sports update show will showcase all relevant late-night games, scores, not-to-miss highlights, and previews of upcoming events in order to serve fans on-the-go who may not have seen the end of the previous night’s Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots or Celtics games.
“With so much sports information to filter through each morning, NESN Sports Update will make it easy for fans to get the most relevant and entertaining updates in 20 minutes,” Joseph Maar, NESN’s vice president of programming & production, executive producer, said. “Over the past two years we have expanded our network’s production resources, from adding on-air talent and producers to introducing technological enhancements, which will help us deliver sports news at the most convenient times for the most passionate fans in the country.”
The program will include post-game interviews not available elsewhere, custom reports from NESN’s Red Sox and Bruins broadcasters, regular updates from former New England Patriots Matt Chatham and Jermaine Wiggins, and insights from experts spanning all the biggest events both in New England and nationally.
