Adrian Peterson’s sponsors are dropping like flies.
The Minnesota Vikings star running back was reinstated Monday after missing just one game after being indicted on a felony charge of reckless or negligent injury to a child Friday, and a few of his sponsors responded by cutting ties.
But by far the biggest hit Peterson and the Vikings took was that Nike stores in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn., are no longer selling Peterson jerseys as of Tuesday.

The jerseys, however, are still available on Nike’s website.
Peterson was scrubbed from the Wheaties website in addition to the move from Nike. He appeared on the cereal box in August of 2013, but a Wheaties spokesperson admitted to NBC News that he hadn’t been under contract with the company “for a number of months.”
Pharmaceutical company Mylan Inc. also ended their relationship with Peterson. The running back, who suffers from severe allergies, was a paid spokesperson for Mylan’s EpiPen.
These changes came a day after the Radisson hotel chain suspended its sponsorship with the Vikings.
