patriots fansEveryone knows that buying beer at an NFL stadium costs an arm and a leg. It’s no different at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro.

You might be surprised, however, to learn that beersĀ sold at New England Patriots games actually are relatively cheap compared to those sold at other NFL venues.

MainStreet.com conducted a study using Team Market Report’s “Fan Cost Index” and found that — at $0.38 per ounce — the Patriots sell the least expensive beer of all 2013 NFL playoff teams.

The Carolina Panthers serve the league’s most cost-effective suds at $0.27 per ounce, while the Dallas Cowboys top the charts at a whopping $0.53 per ounce.

That’s not the only expensive part of seeing a game at Jerry Jones’ palace, either. Parking for Cowboys games will set you back $75 (compared to the league average of $31) and a program will cost you $10 — again more than double the NFL average ($4).
