Tom BradyFOXBORO, Mass. — Tom Brady said he’s “ready to go” for the New England Patriots’ Week 1 matchup against the Miami Dolphins, but the starting quarterback officially is listed as questionable with a calf injury.

Patriots defensive end Michael Buchanan (ankle) and defensive tackle Chris Jones (ankle) have been ruled out for Sunday’s season opener. Defensive tackle Sealver Siliga (hand) and tight end Rob Gronkowski (knee) are questionable.

Gronkowski, like Brady, already said he has been cleared to play against the Dolphins. The tight end had surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee just eight months ago. Gronkowski and Siliga didn’t suit up in the preseason.

Brady, Buchanan, Jones, Siliga and Gronkowski all were limited in practice Friday.

With Jones and Buchanan ruled out, rookies Dominique Easley and Zach Moore could see bigger roles on the Patriots’ defensive line. Defensive tackle Joe Vellano and outside linebacker Darius Fleming also could see more action.
