Ryan Wendell, who appeared to suffer a leg injury against the Miami Dolphins in Week 1, participated in conditioning and positional drills with the rest of his teammates. Wendell played just 22 snaps against the Dolphins, rotating with Jordan Devey on the offensive line. Wendell didn’t play in the second half of the Patriots’ 33-20 loss.

Defensive end Michael Buchanan (ankle) and defensive tackle Chris Jones (ankle), who both sat out of the Patriots’ Week 1 matchup against the Dolphins, also were present at practice and were full participants through conditioning and the first period of drills.
