Tom BradyFOXBORO, Mass. — Tom Brady made his triumphant return to New England Patriots practice Friday after missing the previous day’s session with an injured calf.

Brady was spotted jogging with the rest of his teammates on the Patriots’ practice field, wearing sweatpants in the 82-degree Foxboro heat. The Patriots were in shells and sweats two days before Sunday’s Week 1 matchup with the Miami Dolphins.

The Patriots had a full roster on the field, with all 53 active-roster and 10 practice-squad players. Newly acquired practice squad tight end Allen Reisner was not spotted, however, and it appeared defensive tackle Kelcy Quarles signed with the practice squad after being waived Thursday.

Brady said Thursday night that he’s “ready to go” for the season opener despite his calf ailment.
