Pedro Martinez was a wizard with a baseball in his hand, and he’s proving in retirement that he can make TV magic, too.

Martinez is gearing up for another postseason of analyst work with TBS, and he’s been a popular man in recent weeks. The former Boston Red Sox ace made a cameo with “Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston in a TBS ad, and now he and the rest of the broadcast crew are back at it with the playoffs about to begin.

Martinez, Cal Ripken Jr., Ron Darling and Gary Sheffield all made appearances in TBS’ latest promotional video which hit the Internet on Tuesday morning. In the video, all of the former players take their turns at recreating the famously viral “Boom goes the dynamite” video, a hilariously awful sportscast that’s received more than 8 million YouTube views.

Here’s the original “Boom goes the dynamite” video.

And here’s Pedro and Co. doing their own version.
