Peyton Manning isn’t complaining about Colorado’s recent legalization of marijuana.
The Denver Broncos quarterback — who you’ve likely seen in countless Papa John’s commercials — happens to own 21 of those pizzerias in the state. Sports Illustrated’s Peter King recently caught up with Manning and asked him how things were in the pizza business.
“There’s some different laws out here in Colorado,” Manning said. “Pizza business is pretty good out here, believe it or not, due to some recent law changes.”
It’s good to hear the five-time NFL MVP has pizza to fall back on, just in case his $96 million contract and numerous endorsement deals don’t pan out.
