Rams’ Jared Cook Apologizes For Behavior After Starting Sideline Fight

USATSI_7445974 (1)After the St. Louis Rams coughed up a 21-0 lead to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday evening, things got a little rowdy on the sideline when Jared Cook sparked a fight with his own teammates.

The tight end has since calmed down, reflected on his actions and apologized to his teammates on Twitter.

Cook continued the apology through several more tweets.

“There is never an excuse for unsportsmanlike conduct and I apologize to everyone,” Cook said. I want to thank my teammates again, Austin Davis and William Hayes for their support on the sideline, the Rams organization and especially to all of our fans for whom we fight so hard for your love and continued support.”

The Rams lost 34-31.
