David OrtizAnthony Ranaudo is looking to bounce back from a loss for the first time in his Major League Baseball career.

Ranaudo, who started his big league career with three straight wins, suffered a loss to the New York Yankees in his fourth start. The right-hander is trying to rebound Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park.

Ranaudo lasted six innings in each of his first three starts. He was knocked from his outing against the Yankees after 5 1/3 innings, though the biggest issue in that contest was the Red Sox’s offense. Boston’s bats also were a problem in Monday’s series opener against Baltimore.

Chris Tillman is toeing the rubber for the O’s. He’s had success against the Red Sox in the past, posting a 5-3 record and 2.76 ERA in 14 career starts against Boston entering Tuesday.
