Josh Gordon has to pay the bills somehow.

The Cleveland Browns receiver will miss the entire 2014 NFL season after being suspended without pay for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.

Now, according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, Gordon has found a new job to keep him occupied.

Anderson’s report goes on to say that Gordon will work in “all aspects” of the Northern Ohio-based car dealership, including as an on-floor car salesman.

If her report is true, that’s pretty awesome. We’ve seen a few NFL players partake in interesting ventures in the offseason or during the recent NFL lockout, but this looks like a legitimate full-time gig for the 23-year-old.

A report surfaced last week that Gordon was considering playing in the CFL for the rest of their season, but it looks like he’s opted to join the traditional work force instead.

As long as the job keeps him out of trouble, the Browns will be happy. Gordon was arrested for driving while impaired in July and already was suspended once by the NFL in 2013.

According to Anderson, Gordon starts this weekend, just as the NFL season kicks off. Let’s hope he has more success on the floor than his team has in recent years.
