USATSI_6873240 (1)The Oakland Raiders will name Tony Sparano their temporary head coach during a press conference at 5 p.m. ET, ESPN’s Jim Trotter reported Tuesday.

On Monday night, the Raiders fired head coach Dennis Allen following an embarrassing loss to the Miami Dolphins. Despite tweaking the roster in the offseason, the Raiders lost their first four games. Allen’s career record with Oakland was 8-28.
