With NHL training camps kicking off this week, many players step onto the ice with a fresh slate, hoping to produce and help their team win the Stanley Cup.

Florida Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo, however, seemingly likes to dwell on past misfortunes.

The former Vancouver Canuck posted a picture of himself allowing a goal against the Boston Bruins in a brilliant, self-deprecating tweet.

Perhaps Luongo is using his struggles to motivate himself to improve his performance in clutch moments.

Luongo, who was traded from Vancouver to the Florida Panthers last season, has been criticized for not coming through in big games. At least he’s had a good sense of humor about it.
