Roddy White really should have known better.
With the NFL in the midst of yet another scandal — Adrian Peterson’s indictment on child abuse charges — White sent out a tweet Friday mentioning how Peterson’s deactivation for this Sunday’s game will put a hurting on his fantasy team.
Bad idea.
White’s tweet was met with a overwhelmingly negative response, prompting the Atlanta Falcons receiver to delete it and post an apology less than an hour later.
