Ronda RouseyNot many people would be able to hold their own against Ronda Rousey.

The UFC fighter implied Friday that controversial running back Ray Rice is one of those people who wouldn’t stand a chance against her.

When approached by TMZ at Los Angeles International Airport, Rousey said things would’ve been “much, much different” had she been in the elevator with Rice in Atlantic City, N.J.

Rousey is the UFC’s current bantamweight champion. She has never lost a UFC bout and also was the first American woman to earn an Olympic medal in judo when she won bronze in Beijing in 2008.

With those credentials, one has to believe the “much, much different” ending that Rousey is talking about would’ve spelled bad news for Rice.

“I think every person has the right to defend themselves, and everyone should try regardless of the situation,” Rousey said.

Rousey also said she believes that there should be “some sort of punishment” for Rice.
