Shaq Attack applied Wednesday to be a reserve police officer in Doral, Fla., according to the Miami Herald. The 7-foot-1 former NBA superstar is going through the application process as well as a background check, but the fact that he’s famous doesn’t make O’Neal a shoo-in.

“If he passes, he will then have to do everything else to be certified by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, just like any of our other officers, reserve or not reserve,” city spokeswoman Christina Baguer said.

If O’Neal passes the physical and psychological exams, it wouldn’t be his first time on a police force. O’Neal was sworn in as a reserve police officer in the Miami Police Department in 2005, but he no longer is with the department.
