Roger Goodell’s future as NFL commissioner remains uncertain, but protesters are doing everything they can to make sure it’s not very bright.

Activists recently doctored a CoverGirl advertisement that was part of an NFL ad campaign featuring women with makeup representing their team’s colors by adding a bruised eye on a woman sporting Baltimore Ravens makeup to make her look like a victim of domestic abuse.

The shocking photo went viral over the weekend with the hashtag #GoodellMustGo and exemplifies the resentment that has emerged against Goodell over the past few weeks. The commissioner has taken considerable criticism for his handling of the Ray Rice situation after a video emerged of the former Ravens running back punching his then-fiancée in the face.

After the photo went viral, CoverGirl’s website went down on Monday citing that it was under maintenance. It’s unclear whether the “official beauty sponsor of the NFL” will continue the “Get Your Game Face On” ad campaign.
