Tim Howard Looks Absolutely Helpless On Free Kick In Europa League (Video)

Tim Howard established himself as one of the world’s most talented goalkeepers after his unbelievable and inspiring performance for the U.S. in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

That’s why it was a bit shocking to see him look so helpless on a free kick by Ricardo Rodriguez in Everton’s UEFA Europa League match against Wolfsburg.

Rodriguez’s strike from outside the penalty box went directly into the net, and it left the American keeper frozen as it flew into the net unimpeded.

Fortunately for Howard, that was his only faux pas, as he made 12 saves, and Everton went on to win 4-1 to remain undefeated against German competition and stand in first place in their Europa League group.
