Tom BradyThere weren’t many positives for the New England Patriots during Sunday’s 33-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

The same can be said for quarterback Tom Brady, who threw for just 62 yards in the second half as his team failed to score in the game’s final 30 minutes.

Despite all that, the signal-caller still managed to etch his name in the record books.

Brady finished with 249 passing yards to give him 49,398 in his career, passing Hall of Famer Warren Moon for sixth on the NFL’s all-time list.

Moon threw for 49,325 yards during his 17-year NFL career, including more than 33,500 yards during 10 seasons with the Houston Oilers.

Brady is beginning his 15th NFL season, but he’ll have his work cut out for him if he wants to crack the top five NFL passers.

Currently sitting in fifth is New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who has 51,414 career passing yards after throwing for 333 in a Week 1 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Peyton Manning is the NFL’s active passing leader by a large margin, entering Sunday night’s game with 64,964 career yards.
