Tom Brady Julian EdelmanThe New England Patriots beat the Oakland Raiders Sunday, but it wasn’t pretty.

A Vince Wilfork interception helped New England escape with a 16-9 win despite gaining fewer than 300 total yards for the second straight week.

The Patriots managed just 76 rushing yards against the worst run defense in the NFL and added just 221 yards through the air. Their meager performance came just one week after they put up just 292 total yards against the Minnesota Vikings and two weeks after they were held to 20 points in a loss to the Miami Dolphins in the season opener.

New England’s offense clearly has yet to hit its stride, but who is to blame? Should quarterback Tom Brady shoulder the blame, or is the poor play of the offensive line the chief cause for concern? Is Brady struggling from a lack of offensive weapons?
