The Washington Redskins name controversy continues to be a hot topic.

Not only is a Minnesota college campus gearing up to protest Sunday’s Redskins-Vikings game at TCF Bank Stadium, but a new YouTube ad also is bound to sweep the nation, given its powerful stance against Washington’s contentious moniker.

The Red Circle Agency and the National Coalition Against Racism in Sports and Media released a video in which several people call themselves racial slurs, only to be bleeped out. A Native American man, however, is not bleeped out.

“I was tired of people avoiding what I think is the real issue,” Chad Germann, owner of Red Circle Ad Agency and member of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, said in a statement. “There is no word in the American lexicon that is more hurtful to the Native American.”
