NFL: New England Patriots at Minnesota VikingsIn one of the least surprising plot twists of the 2014 New England Patriots season, Bill Belichick wouldn’t comment on the reported punishment doled out Tuesday to cornerback Darrelle Revis.

Belichick was asked what transpired when Revis reportedly was told not to come to Gillette Stadium after oversleeping.

“Anything between me and the players is between myself and the players,” Belichick told reporters Friday.

Belichick then was asked, “You sent him home, correct?”

“I didn’t say that,” Belichick responded.

A reporter asked Belichick if Revis would be further punished in Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.

“I’m here to talk about the Bears,” Belichick answered. “Anything else is between myself and the players.”

One more attempt to ask about Revis was made, but Belichick interrupted the reporter, saying “You know, I think the Bears are really a good team.”
