Sea BassIt sure sounds like Sea Bass is about to reappear.

There was a uncertainty as to whether Boston Bruins president and hockey Hall of Famer Cam Neely would appear in the “Dumb and Dumber” sequel set to be released this fall. Neely, who appeared in the 1994 original version of the Farrelly Brothers film, kept quiet about his potential role in the new flick.

However, he recently admitted he filmed a scene, and it sounds like he expects the scene to be in the sequel.

The last I heard (Sea Bass) was still in it,” Neely told TSN. “Originally, Sea Bass wasn’t going to be in the sequel. I think they were kind of unsure how to get the 2014 version of Sea Bass into it. I think maybe they felt it was too contrived.”

However, it was tough to deny the desire for Sea Bass to appear in the new movie.

“They were doing question and answer stuff at pre-screenings, and the question a lot of people were asking was, ‘Where’s Sea Bass?’ After that, they figured a way to get Sea Bass in there,” Neely told TSN’s Bob McKenzie.

The Bruins legend is expected to appear alongside the movie’s stars — Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels — for his latest scene.

“It’s been a fun thing,” Neely said. “People seem to like Sea Bass. Acting isn’t my forte, that’s for sure. I haven’t seen (Dumb and Dumber To) yet. It should be fun.”

“Dumb and Dumber To” will be released Nov. 14.
