College Football Odds: BC Favored Vs. Wake Forest After Clemson Loss
The Boston College Eagles fly south this weekend to take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons as 12-point road favorites in a battle of ACC Atlantic Division rivals.
The Eagles came up short in a late fourth-quarter drive last weekend, dropping a 17-13 decision to the Clemson Tigers, but covered as 5.5-point home underdogs. The loss dropped BC to 4-3 straight up on the season but improved the team to a solid 5-2 against the spread.
BC had the upper hand in recent meetings with Wake Forest, winning five of their last seven head-to-head, both SU and ATS. The Demon Deacons are 2-5 SU on the season and have scored just 20 points combined during their current three-game losing streak, going 1-2 ATS.
No. 21 Clemson will be gunning for its fifth consecutive SU win this weekend when it takes on Syracuse as a 14.5-point favorite, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
While their winning streak has lifted them back into the AP Top 25, the Tigers are riding a two-game losing streak ATS into Saturday?s betting matchup at Memorial Stadium.
The Orange stopped a four-game losing streak with a 30-7 win over Wake Forest last weekend for their second consecutive road win of the season, SU and ATS, but have been dominated in both their previous meetings with ranked teams this season.
