Tim Hudson’s wife threw the best curveball of Game 3 of the National League Championship Series.

Hudson’s wife, Kim, was interviewed by FOX Sports’ Erin Andrews during Tuesday’s NLCS clash between the San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals at AT&T Park. Kim was asked about watching her husband pitch for the Giants in a pressure-packed postseason game.

Kim’s response was awesome. Andrews’ reaction was even better.

A “train wreck” tends to have a negative connotation for obvious reasons. But Kim’s point is taken. Tim hasn’t pitched beyond the first round of the playoffs in 16 years, so this is an intense time for the entire Hudson family.

Kim might end up chewing her fingers down to the bone if the Giants advance to the World Series, which is even more likely with San Francisco emerging victorious in Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead over St. Louis.
