Dak PrescottOne of college football’s biggest games of the weekend might not be seen in the game’s market.

FOXSports.com reported Saturday afternoon that the CBS affiliate serving Starkville, Miss. — home of Mississippi State — might not be able to broadcast the Miss. State-Auburn game Saturday afternoon.

WCBI-TV announced Saturday that lightning damaged its transmitter. That damage was significant enough to knock the station off air.

WBCI did say, however, that it has “authorized all satellite and most cable companies in the viewing area to carry an alternate CBS affiliate while WCBI is off the air.”

Fans looking for the Mississippi State-Auburn game inside that market can also watch via live stream on CBS’s website.
