Joseph RandleJust when one thought stealing $100 worth of underwear and cologne from a department store was one of the most embarrassing things a professional football player might do, Joseph Randle set a new bar.

KTVT-TV in Dallas released footage of Randle’s booking from the Frisco Police Department, and it was bizarre to say the least.

The Dallas Cowboys running back first offered an employee $100 for a massage, but she declined. Later, he joked about his mugshot photo and asked why his height and weight weren’t displayed.

That wasn’t all. Randle called his agent and requested an attorney for a “writ bond” so he can make it to practice the next day, and he later got in trouble for using his cellphone.

And finally, Randle made comments about teammate Josh Brent, who was convicted of intoxicated manslaughter in the death of practice-squad linebacker Jerry Brown.

“Josh Brent, he’s still up in the locker room,” Randle said. “He was driving drunk. That’s stupid.”

Randle did show some remorse, however, by calling his actions at the department store a mistake and explaining he didn’t feel like going back to the cashier to pay for his goods.
