NFL: Oakland Raiders at New England PatriotsIt’s no longer the Tom Brady-Julian Edelman show for the New England Patriots.

With the emergence of Brandon LaFell, who caught 11 passes for 124 yards with a touchdown Sunday against the Chicago Bears and a monster showing from Rob Gronkowski, who hauled in nine passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns — not to mention running back Jonas Grays’ impressive day on the ground — the Pats’ offense was firing on all cylinders during the 51-23 beatdown.

That’s an encouraging sign for the Patriots as they look ahead to the postseason, according to the wide receiver.

“You’re getting production out of a lot of guys,” Edelman said during his weekly appearance on WEEI’s “Middays with MFB” on Monday. “(Jonas Gray) came up again and had a big game. Timmy (Wright) comes in and has his touchdown. Gronk, Shane (Vereen) having some big plays. The more you have a lot more guys doing things, we’re building up for the backstretch.”

With Brady spreading the ball around more in Week 8, Edelman saw his production dip as he caught just one pass on four targets against the Bears to go along with a pair of drops. But Edelman isn’t worried about the decline as long as the rest of the offense continues to hit its stride.

“I think it’s more just, one week it’s this guy, the next week it’s that guy. Hopefully, it comes back,” Edelman added. “The offense has been doing well. You don’t want to do anything differently to disrupt that. I’m sure I’ll be getting targets my way or something like that. It’s the flows of the game. You’re going to be hot sometimes, and sometimes you’re going to be playing a different role. As long as the team’s winning, that’s all it’s about.”
