Ole Miss literally had to dismantle Leonard Fournette’s helmet to stop him Saturday night.

LSU was in the midst of driving for a game-winning touchdown when its freshman running back, who rumbled for a game-high 113 yards against the Rebels, has his facemask ripped right off by Ole Miss linebacker Serderius Bryant.

Bryant was flagged (obviously) for his illegal attempt at a tackle, and Tigers quarterback Anthony Jennings found Logan Stokes in the end zone two plays later to give LSU a 10-7 lead.

Ole Miss’ final drive ended in an interception, giving LSU the upset victory over the third-ranked Rebels.

Jennings’ touchdown toss was one of just eight passes he completed on the night, as the LSU running backs dominated the game. The trio of Fournette, Terrence Magee and Kenny Hilliard ran wild as the Tigers racked up 264 yards on the ground.
