Kansas City Royals fans have been treated all postseason, but a few supporters were part of an unforgettable moment Tuesday night.

The Royals rallied to beat the Baltimore Orioles, pushing their American League Championship Series lead to 3-0, and third baseman Mike Moustakas played a big role. While Moustakas has made a huge impact with his bat this October, his glove stole the show in Game 3.

In the top of the sixth inning, Adam Jones hit a lazy foul popup down the third-base line at Kaufmann Stadium. Moustakas raced after the foul ball before getting to the dugout suites behind third base. Instead of backing off, Moustakas attacked the baseball, falling into a suite.

Amazingly, Moustakas made the catch amid a sea of Royals fans.

“It really did fire up the whole stadium,” Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer said of the catch, according to The Associated Press. “Hats off to the fans in the dugout suite, pick him up and put him back on the field. That was great. Moose finding ways to get it done.”

The catch helped spark a rally in the bottom half of the inning. Billy Butler’s sacrifice fly broke a 1-1 tie, and the Royals’ bullpen took it from there on the way to a 2-1 win that puts Kansas City within one game of the World Series.
