Milan Lucic and Chris Stewart dropped their gloves for a fight just 51 seconds into Thursday night’s game between the Boston Bruins and Buffalo Sabres at First Niagara Center.
Stewart appeared to initiate the fight, and after Lucic agreed, both players attempted and landed several punches.
Stewart handled himself quite well against Lucic, who’s one of the toughest players to fight in the NHL. It was the Bruins winger’s first bout of the 2014-15 campaign.
The Bruins now have five fights this season, tying them with the Colorado Avalanche for the fourth-most in the league.
