Milan Lucic Gets Bruins On Board Vs. Islanders With First-Period Goal (Video)

The New York Islanders were outplaying the Boston Bruins in the first period Thursday night, but that didn’t stop Milan Lucic from scoring a beautiful goal.

Center David Krejci created the scoring opportunity when he sent a lateral pass to Seth Griffith in order to get himself and Lucic open in front of the goal. Griffith sent a shot in their direction, and Lucic was able to redirect it to the corner of the net above Isles goalkeeper Chad Johnson’s glove.
