The Boston Bruins saw an opportunity to get ahead of the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night, and they certainly took it.
With the game tied 1-1 in the second period, the Bruins had some difficulty clearing the puck out of their defensive zone. That was until the Wild made a very opportune line change.
Minnesota’s switch created a brief moment of open space on the ice, and it was just long enough for defenseman Zach Trotman to get the puck to Milan Lucic. Lucic then passed to an open Seth Griffith, who scored a very athletic goal — his second of the night.
