If only more professional athletes were like Ben Scrivens.
The Edmonton Oilers goaltender, a Cornell graduate who recently adopted a dog from the Edmonton Humane Society, has always tried to exemplify intelligence and goodwill.
Now, he has joined a year-long campaign to raise awareness for mental health.
The goalie had the words “Empathy” and “Hope” painted on the back of his new mask by an artist who lives with schizophrenia, and the result was pretty awesome.
Keep doing you, Ben.
