Thursdays on social media mean an influx of your friends’ childhood photos, whether you want to see them or not.
But every once in a while, “Throwback Thursday” produces a real gem.
Take this photo that the New England Patriots posted of running back Shane Vereen and his younger brother, Chicago Bears safety Brock Vereen, for instance.

Sunday will be a big day for the Vereen brothers because it’s not just the first time they’ll share an NFL field. Shane said Tuesday that because of their age difference, they never played together growing up either.
Shane also said he usually got the best of Brock, so we’ll have to see if that holds true Sunday.
