Paul Pierce, Joakim Noah Fined $15K Each For Preseason Altercation

Washington Wizards forward Paul Pierce and Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah almost came to blows during their preseason matchup Monday, and the league announced Wednesday that both would be slammed with a $15,000 fine.No punches were thrown, but Noah shoved Pierce in the chest, and Pierce poked Noah in the forehead.

Additionally, four Wizards received a one-game suspension for leaving the bench area during the altercation. DeJuan Blair, Nene, Daniel Orton and Xavier Silas all will be suspended for the first game of the regular season.
